Focus and Scope
Banwa is an open-access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal published by the University of the Philippines Mindanao. Series B publishes works on the natural and applied sciences (biological and agricultural sciences, chemistry, earth sciences, physics, applied mathematics, computer science, environmental studies), as well as economics and management.
Peer Review Process
The articles submitted to the journal undergo in-house quality control before undergoing the double-blind peer review process. The members of the editorial board who will evaluate the articles and the board of reviewers who will referee the articles are scholars working within the fields covered by the journal. Authors may suggest possible reviewers for their articles; however, the selection of reviewers is subject to the editors’ discretion.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
